About the Role:
As their new Block Manager, you’ll take lead with the management of 20 – 25 schemes, virtually all RMCs, in Greater Manchester.
You’ll be supported by an Assistant Property Manager as well as dedicated teams within the business – from admin to accounts – to support you in your role. That said, you’ll gain much broader exposure to all aspects of Property Management than you would at some firms. Relying too heavily on separate teams to handle every task can limit your growth and understanding of the role. This business believes that having a well-rounded knowledge of management activities empowers you to provide informed, effective advice to leaseholders and clients. Whilst their support teams are there to assist you, you’ll maintain autonomy in your decision-making and day to day responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years’ experience in Block Management
Ideally ATPI status, but just a willingness to work towards this will be considered
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
Confidence in setting budgets, chairing AGMs and managing Section 20 processes
