This is your opportunity to join a respected Managing Agent in London and take ownership of service charge accounting for a diverse, high-quality portfolio.
Working as part of a collaborative, professional team, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things service charge - ensuring budgets are accurate, year-end accounts are completed on time, and clients receive clear, reliable financial information.
You’ll work closely with Property Managers, Directors, and external accountants, using your expertise to keep everything running smoothly and in compliance with industry standards. This is a role where your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate clearly will be valued every day.
Responsibilities you'll take lead on will include:
Management of year-end accounts
Working closely with the Block Managers to accurately prepare and managing service charge budgets
Attending internal, client, and auditor meetings to finalise accounts
Producing reports
Management of account reconciliations
Producing client reports
Supporting the Block Managers with any accounts queries day to day and at AGMs on occasion
You’ll have proven experience in service charge accounting, with a solid understanding of budgets, year-end accounts, and relevant legislation. Confidence with property management software and the ability to clearly explain financial information to clients and colleagues will be key to your success in this role.
